ARM vs. x86: TQ offers both architectures in all performance classes

Speaker: Harald Maier, TQ

ARM vs. x86: It depends on the requirements of the application whether ARM or x86 is better suited. The real overlap is not too much. TQ offers both architectures in all performance classes. On the one hand you get ARM modules from ARM9 up to ARM Cortex-A9 with all CPU functionalities. On the other hand TQ provides x86 based solutions from Intel Atom up to Intel Core i7. Embedded hardware security is also a big topic for TQ. TQ provides hardware and software solutions in order to protect the entire platform.
